remake of "Oh My God" has been titled "Mukunda Murari", and
the movie, starring Sudeep and Upendra. It was earlier titled "Krishna Nee
Begane Baaro," but the makers of the film felt "Mukunda Murari"
would be better.

According to Known Source , "Oh My God" starred Akshay Kumar as Lord
Krishna and Paresh Rawal as an atheist. The film, which was based on a Gujarati
play, was directed by Umesh Shukla. The movie told the story of an
atheist who wages a war on spiritual leaders and an insurance company when his
shop gets destroyed by a low-intensity earthquake and the insurance company
refuses to pay up, calling it an "acto fo god".
While Sudeep is stepping into the shoes of Akshay
Kumar, Upendra will enact the character played by Paresh Rawal.
The remake is being scripted and directed by Nanda Kishore, who has delivered a
few hits, including "Victory" and "Ranna". He is making
minor changes to the story to suit the tastes of the local audience.
Meanwhile, the makers are planning to approach actress Prema,
who bid goodbye to acting after marriage, to play the role of Uppi's wife, as
their combination is popular with the audience. The duo had paired up in the
movie "Upendra" way back in 1999. The daily adds that Ramya
Krishnan, Sadaa and a few others are also in consideration. Ravi Shankar and
Avinash are part of the supporting cast, and Nidhi Subbaiah, who had played the
role of a journalist in "Oh My God," has been approached for the same
role.
"Mukunda Murari" is being bankrolled by Kichcha
Creations, Jayashreedevi Productions and N Kumar Productions. Arjun Janya will
compose the music, Sudhakar s Raj will handle the cinematography, Mohan B Kere
is the art director and JM Prakash is the editor of the Kannada flick.
